BLACKPOOL AND FLEETWOOD YACHT CLUB

 NOTICE OF RACE FOR:           

    LASER OPEN 13^th August 2022

1. Rules

   1.1 The above race will be governed by rules as defined in “The Racing Rules of Sailing 2021-2024”.

2. Sailing Instructions

   2.1 The Sailing Instructions available on the day

3. Eligibility & Entry

   3.1 The race is open to Laser (ILCA7), Laser Radials (ILCA6) & Laser 4.7s (ILCA4)  

4. Fees

   4.1 Race fees £12 are required to be paid on the day prior racing, and shall include lunch along with any outstanding fees due to B&FYC

5.0 Equipment Inspection

   5.1 Each boat may be required to produce or verify the existence of a valid measurement certificate.

6. Schedule

   6.1 The race programme can be found at www.bfyc.org.uk/2022-dinghy-programme      3 races to be held, with 2 to count. First start at 11:45

7. Venue

   7.1 The Venue shall be the Skippool Basin defined as from Wardleys Creek to Shard   Bridge. B&FYC is situated as follows Wyre Road, Thornton-Cleveleys Lancashire FY5 5LF

8. Insurance

   8.1 All participants must ensure their craft are insured for third party liability to a minimum of £3,000,000.

9. Risk Statement

   9.1 Competitors participate in the regatta entirely at their own risk. See rule 4 RRS. The organising authority will not accept any liability for material damage or personal injury, or death sustained in conjunction with or prior to, during or after the regatta.

10. Prizes

   10.1 Prizes will be awarded after the race in the clubhouse. (Covid Permitting)

11. Results

   11.1 Results will be posted online at www.bfyc.org.uk
