Discover Sailing

Discover Sailing Day - 30th May 2026

O n 30th of May 9:45 - 13:00 this year, Blackpool & Fleetwood Yacht Club will hold our annual Discover Sailing day, during which we open the club to the public, to try (discover) sailing with an experienced sailor. These days have been well received, and enjoyed by both the public and our members. If you think that you might like to try our sport, then register your interest, by contacting us by email on: dinghies@bfyc.org.uk Following this, we will contact you with further details.

Important

Please take the time to register, if you are interested in this event, as this is a by invitation only event, and we will provide boats and helms on the basis of expected visitor numbers. If you turn up on the day without registering, then we won't have a boat/helm ready for you, and we will probably not be able to get you out on the water.
